There are literally hundreds of websites with free e-books available. Below is a list of some of the major sites and collections to be aware of. Some, like Project Gutenberg, have projects underway to create MARC records for their freely accessible eBooks. Some libraries are also choosing to individually catalog select free e-books on their own.
