Shared E-book Collections are managed by Califa, and ongoing collection development is distributed between participating members.

• Digital Library Reserve powered by OverDrive: Shared collection featuring over 2,200 titles. A mixture of downloadable audio books, e-books and music for use on PCs, laptops, and portable devices. View the Northern California collection at http://califa.lib.overdrive.com/.

• NetLibrary Shared Ebook Collection: Califa provides access to a shared general e-book collection of over 5000 titles focusing on business and technology.

• Safari Tech Books Online: Shared collection of technology books from O’Reilly and other top tech publishers. These titles are available for online viewing. Califa libraries will cooperate to catalog titles in the collection.

• Legal Ebook Collection: Consumer law titles from Nolo, Sphinx and other top law publishers. Provide access to the latest editions of these titles both in your library and to your remote users.

• Netlibrary Audio Books from Recorded Books: OCLC and Recorded Books offer a subscription to downloadable audio books on the Netlibrary platform. Currently features more than 1000 titles, including best-sellers, book club favorites, award-winning authers plus the Pimsleur Language Series with 30 new titles added each month.

Discount Programs provide Califa libraries with discounted pricing for e-book collection which are not shared. These collections would be managed and developed by the individual libraries.

• Downloadable NetLibrary Audio books: OCLC and Recorded Books offer a subscription to downloadable audio books on the NetLibrary platform. Currently features more than 1000 titles, including the latest best-sellers, book club favorites, award-winning authors plus the Pimsleur Language Series with 30 added each month.

• Ebrary: Offers purchase and subscription plans for e-book collections on business, computers, technology, humanities, social sciences and more. Online sheet music and maps are also available.

• Tumblebooks: Talking animated picture stories for kids (K-4). TumbleTalking Books and TumbleReadables also available.

• Digital Library Reserve powered by OverDrive: Standalone platforms for libraries which wish to have their own look and feel.

• Alexander Street Press Music Online: Streaming music service includes Classical Music Library, Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries, African American Song, and American Song collections.
